OP/TECH USA Utility Sling-Duo (Black) Overview

Worn over a single shoulder, the made in the USA, black Utility Sling-Duo from Op/Tech USA is made for male and female photographers who require rapid access to two pieces of gear. The Sling-Duo holds two cameras with attached lenses or other combinations such as a camera on one sling and a battery pack on the other. To prevent gear from bumping, one sling hangs by your right side and the other at your left. In use, gear will glide up and down each sling without interfering with the camera’s tripod connection.

A versatile system, the quick disconnects allow photographers to easily remove one of the slings when only one piece of gear is needed. For comfort and to prevent slippage, the pad is made of stretchable neoprene with a non-slip surface underneath. Although only one Uni-Loop is required to attach a camera by one of its strap lugs, two are provided per camera for creating a third strap-connection point when using with a heavy battery grip. A total of 4 Uni-Loops are included with your Sling-Duo.

The Sling-Duo comes ready to wear on your left shoulder. However, for photographers who prefer using their right shoulder, two sets of System Connectors – Gender Changers may be ordered separately. Also available separately are System Connector Extensions for customizing the length of your Sling-Duo.

Create a safety lanyard for your camera on the Utility Sling – Duo with the use of the System Connectors – Extensions (sold separately). For added peace of mind for those photographers who would normally only have one connection point, you can attach your camera to the sling by two points with the use of an Extension Connector (sold separately as a set of two). One Extension piece would be attached to the back quick disconnect on the sling and connect over to the Uni-Loop attached to the left side of the camera. When you raise your camera to the shooting position, the Extension lanyard will be out of the viewing area.
Wear the Utility Sling – Duo on your right shoulder with a set of System Connectors – Gender Changers (sold separately). With the addition of the Gender Changers (sold separately) you can switch the configuration of the strap to work on your right shoulder so that all the sling hardware is in the proper position for ease of use and mobility.
While actively moving around with your Utility Sling – Duo secure your camera to your side with the second Uni-Loop Connector. Attach the second Uni-Loop Connector to your belt loop which can then be connected to the Utility Sling – Duo’s second quick disconnect. Move freely while hiking, biking or navigating busy streets and keep your camera securely attached at your side.
When shooting with a larger lens, reduce stress on your camera’s lens mount with System Connectors – Lens Loops (sold separately). Support the weight of a heavy lens with the Lens Loops Connectors (sold separately). The Lens Loops protect your camera’s lens mount from the added weight and stress of a heavy lens while positioning the lens comfortably at your side.
Protect your camera while attached to the Utility Sling – Duo with a neoprene Soft Pouch (sold separately). Protect your camera from bumps, moisture and dust while in the field with a neoprene Soft Pouch (sold separately). It remains snuggly on the camera as you wear the Utility Sling – Duo and can be quickly removed so that you never miss a shot. Available in a wide variety of styles and sizes to fit almost any camera.
