Good things
on your film.
Let’s see what you’ve got.
Choose your developing, scans, and prints together.
Start with your film.
Group rolls that need the same services. Different film or different choices? Add another group.

APS film is developed in C-41. Look for 15, 25 or 40 on the cartridge. Developing costs the same for every APS roll. Scanning is priced for 15–25 or 40 exposures because longer rolls take more time to scan. Choose “Not sure” if you need help identifying yours.
Has my APS film already been developed? Check the cartridge.
Look at the end of the cartridge with the four numbered symbols. A gray indicator highlights one position. Read that highlighted position: all four symbols may be visible on the cartridge.
- 1 · Circle
- Unexposed: no pictures taken.
- 2 · Half-circle
- Partly exposed: some pictures taken, not yet developed.
- 3 · X
- Exposed: pictures taken, not yet developed.
- 4 · Square
- Already developed. The cartridge contains negatives for scanning or printing.
Position 4 highlighted? You don’t need developing again. Call 267.576.4242 and we’ll help arrange scans or prints.
Keep the cartridge closed. Don’t turn the spool or try to change the indicator. If the marking is unclear, let us check it for you.

What if I already paid to develop an APS cartridge that was processed?
If you prepaid for developing and we find it’s already developed, we can apply that payment to your current order balance, give you store credit toward other services, or refund the APS processing charge if needed. We’ll arrange the adjustment with you.
Do I need digital scans to get prints?
No. Choose “No digital scans” and add prints below. Digital scans are files you can download; prints are photographs on paper. You can order either, both, or developing alone and keep your originals.
Make room for prints.
Pass them around. Put them in an album. Give a set to someone who was there.
Pay for the photographs we print, after your film is developed. Your upfront payment covers developing, chosen scans, and any prepaid postage. When your order is complete, pay for the prints actually made through a payment link or at in-store pickup.
