The XS Octodome White Portable Speedlight Kit from Photoflex is a great way to maximize the use of your on-camera flashes and get polished, studio-quality results. The kit includes two 18″ diameter white Octodomes with removable internal baffles and front diffusers. Each softbox has a basic OctoConnector (speedring), adjustable shoe mount for your optional flash unit, a Heavy Duty Swivel and a Compact LiteStand. It all fits in the included padded, wheeled TransPac GigBag.
Photoflex Extra Small OctoDome Softbox (White, 18″)
The white 18″ Extra Small OctoDome Softbox from Photoflex is an octagonal light modifier with a unique quality of light that makes a favorite of portrait and fashion shooters. The OctoDome has a removable front diffuser and internal baffle to give you contrast options. This size is ideal for close up work for small objects or for a hairlight, fill light or back light in portraiture.

Photoflex Adjustable Shoe Mount Connector for Small to Medium Litedome Softboxes
The Photoflex Adjustable Shoe Mount Connector for Small to Medium Litedome Softboxes accepts most shoe-mount flashes. It connects to a Photoflex, or Chimera Speed Ring, and allows use of that flash with a 12×16″ softbox.
- The Photoflex Extra Small LiteDome comes with a universal speed ring. This adapter connects to that, or any other Speed Ring.
- Height of your flash is easily adjusted, and locked into place in the optimum position.
Photoflex Heavy Duty Swivel Mount with Reversible Stud
This is a Photoflex Heavy Duty Swivel Mount bracket. It is a versatile aluminum bracket that will fit on almost any light stand. The reversible threaded stud (3/8″ and 1/4″) enables attachment of various lighting and grip items.
- Transfers the weight of your softbox to its speed ring, relieving your light head, and providing better balance atop a light stand
- Bracket tilts and swivels to make aiming the light or flash easy
- Has a locking umbrella socket that will accept umbrella shafts up to 3/8″ diameter
Photoflex Speed Ring – Basic Ring Only
- This is the Photoflex Basic Speed Ring ONLY. It does not include an adapter for a specific light.
- OctoDome rotating connectors are made from heat resistant cast aluminum for durability, and allow rotation while mounted to your fixture with your choice of any shaped softbox.
